• Conduct individual assessments to develop personalized therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate healing and growth.
• Support couples, families, and groups by delivering therapeutic sessions that encourage open communication and emotional expression.
• Document all clinical interactions accurately and timely, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal obligations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions, staying abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and trends.

This role focuses on serving a broad spectrum of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families with varying needs. The ideal candidate will be experienced in addressing common issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. By utilizing remote services, we aim to reach those who may not otherwise have access to mental health support due to geographical, social, or economic barriers.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Proof of active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Strong commitment to understanding and upholding legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams in delivering client-centered care.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

• Specializations in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse are highly desirable.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
