This is a remote position; however, our counselors will be integrated within a dynamic outpatient counseling center structure that hinges on effective communication and teamwork. Counselors will work with clients in a flexible appointment-based setting, allowing them to create their own schedules and optimize their work-life balance. Through the use of digital communication tools and virtual therapy platforms, our professionals can engage meaningfully with clients regardless of their location.

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations of clients, developing individualized treatment plans that address their specific mental health challenges.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups with a focus on enhancing coping strategies and promoting emotional resilience.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring that each session is tailored to the unique needs of clients.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care and comprehensive support to clients.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records in line with ethical standards and legal regulations to ensure the privacy and security of client information.
• Stay abreast of current research and trends in mental health, participating in ongoing professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance therapeutic skills.

The role primarily involves working with adults seeking support for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. We emphasize a tailored approach, recognizing that clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we strive to meet them with sensitivity and understanding.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related fields from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services within clinical or outpatient environments.

• Experience with digital therapy platforms and telehealth practices is highly desirable.
• Training in specific therapeutic techniques such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) or trauma-informed care.
• Ability to engage with a culturally diverse client base.
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation and care.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 300,000 to 400,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
