Job description

Make a genuine impact in the lives of young learners by providing essential occupational therapy services through teletherapy. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional with a background in pediatric OT, particularly in the educational setting. Utilize your expertise to support students’ growth and development remotely, while collaborating with school staff and families to ensure each student receives the care they deserve.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of teletherapy platforms and technology
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Capacity for independent work, as well as effective team collaboration
  • Ability to assess, document, and address students’ occupational therapy needs virtually

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering teletherapy occupational therapy sessions to K-12 students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conducting virtual assessments and creating individualized intervention plans
  • Documenting progress and preparing detailed reports for teachers, parents, and school teams
  • Working closely with educators and case managers to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities
