This role operates in a remote telehealth setting, offering flexibility while employing cutting-edge technology for virtual counseling sessions. As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Pathway, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating group therapy sessions designed to promote connection and support among clients, helping them share their experiences and learn from each other.
• Providing individualized therapy where you will engage clients in conversations to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, developing personalized coping strategies and action plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Collaborating with clients to establish individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their needs and aspirations, ensuring their active participation in their recovery journey.
• Monitoring client progress using assessment tools and feedback methods to continuously adapt therapeutic interventions and ensure effective outcomes.
• Engaging in regular communication with multidisciplinary team members, coordinating comprehensive care, and consulting on complex cases to provide the best possible support.

You will work primarily with young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This patient population often faces a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Your role is crucial in helping these individuals reclaim their lives, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and achieve lasting recovery.

The following qualifications are essential for this position:

• A master’s degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A passion for working with young adults and an understanding of their unique mental health needs.

While not mandatory, the following experiences or skills may set you apart:

• Previous work with adolescent or young adult populations in mental health settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and holistic treatment approaches.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care.
