The collaborative nature of our team allows for regular virtual meetings, supervision sessions, and peer support, ensuring you are always connected and supported in your practice. This conducive environment emphasizes the importance of teamwork and shared learning, reinforcing our commitment to both client and therapist well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Utilize diverse modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-backed approaches to meet varied mental health needs.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork by collaborating with case managers, psychiatrists, and other health professionals. This ensures a holistic approach to client care, facilitating integrated treatment plans.
  • Offer crisis intervention support to clients in acute distressโ€”appropriately utilizing your therapeutic skills to help stabilize situations and provide immediate assistance.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma, utilizing workshops and informational sessions to educate the public.

Your work will primarily involve individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. At TheraCare, we believe in the power of inclusive care; hence, you will have the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise in working with diverse populations experiencing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex disorders.

Qualifications
  • Active, independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is mandatory for this role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrable cultural sensitivity and competence, allowing effective engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficient time management abilities for timely documentation and client follow-ups.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and remote service provision will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques is desirable.
Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials. We provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insuranceโ€”covering medical, dental, and vision; professional liability insurance; generous paid time off; and holiday pay.
