Self Care Learning Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time remote position. • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with patients in a virtual setting.
• Conduct thorough assesssments, including evaluating clients' mental health status and identifying appropriate treatment options.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each patient, incorporating evidence-based interventions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using telehealth platforms, ensuring a supportive and engaging experience for participants.
• Monitor and document patient progress, providing ongoing adjustments to treatment plans as needed, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
• Collaborate with referral specialists and community resources to support comprehensive care for clients.

Your work will focus on a varied patient population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. The center serves a diverse community, making cultural competency and empathy vital to tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the needs of each client.

• Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and/or group therapy services.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing time effectively to balance caseloads and administrative tasks.

• Experience working with a diverse client population and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
• Knowledge of telehealth best practices and experience using virtual platforms for therapy are preferred.
• Background in community-based mental health services is a plus.
