Crossroads Mental and Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in mental health therapy to provide crucial support to individuals and families navigating mental health challenges. You will be responsible for delivering personalized, culturally sensitive care while adhering to evidence-based practices to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a holistic understanding of their unique needs.
  • Provide personalized individual and family therapy sessions based on the specific, identified needs of clients, employing evidence-based strategies to facilitate positive change.
  • Complete essential administrative tasks, including billing, documentation, and treatment planning, ensuring timely submission of insurance authorization forms and other necessary paperwork.
  • Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies, as well as wellness plans to support ongoing client stability.
  • Create comprehensive discharge plans to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving active therapy.
  • Comply with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies at Crossroads, maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.
  • Commit to professional development by engaging in training and continuing education activities.
  • Participate in case consultation sessions and organizational meetings, contributing to collective learning and growth within the team.
  • Ensure completion of all licensing and mandatory training requirements promptly.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a diverse population of clients.
