Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a holistic understanding of their unique needs.
  • Provide personalized individual and family therapy sessions based on the specific, identified needs of clients, employing evidence-based strategies to facilitate positive change.
  • Complete essential administrative tasks, including billing, documentation, and treatment planning, ensuring timely submission of insurance authorization forms and other necessary paperwork.
  • Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies, as well as wellness plans to support ongoing client stability.
  • Create comprehensive discharge plans to ensure smooth transitions for patients leaving active therapy.
  • Comply with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies at Crossroads, maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.
  • Commit to professional development by engaging in training and continuing education activities.
  • Participate in case consultation sessions and organizational meetings, contributing to collective learning and growth within the team.
  • Ensure completion of all licensing and mandatory training requirements promptly.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with a diverse population of clients. Our patient demographic includes individuals and families from a variety of backgrounds, many of whom experience significant barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Qualifications
