Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  • Engage with clients: Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat to facilitate improvements in clients' mental health.
  • Encourage exploration: Guide clients in discussing their emotions and experiences to foster personal insight and understanding of their relationships.
  • Advocate for clients: Act as a supportive ally in helping clients define their mental health goals and work towards them.
  • Develop treatment plans: Evaluate clients’ mental states accurately, and formulate and implement treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused approach based on your professional expertise.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will cater to a diverse client population that includes stable adults with low-acuity mental health concerns. All clients are thoroughly screened prior to booking sessions with you, ensuring that you work only with individuals whose needs align with your expertise and comfort level. This setup empowers you to select the demographics you wish to engage with.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with telehealth platforms.
Preferred Experience

It is beneficial for applicants to have:

  • Experience in conducting teletherapy and familiarity with digital therapeutic tools.

Compensation and Benefits
