Your primary function in this role will be to deliver clinical mental health services via video chat, ensuring accessibility and engagement in the treatment process. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual mental health counseling sessions from home, fostering a safe space for clients to express their concerns.
• Performing ongoing assessments to identify treatment needs and adjusting care strategies accordingly.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that are person-centered and focused on recovery solutions.
• Guiding clients in the development of coping, problem-solving, and communication skills essential for their recovery journey.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation regarding patient progress, treatment plans, and sessions.

The clients you will work with are adults who are typically stable and have low-acuity mental health needs. This role will serve individuals navigating the recovery process from substance use and related mental health challenges, aiming to provide them with the tools and support necessary for sustainable living and enhanced well-being.

To join our team as a Remote Social Worker, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R).
• Independently licensed to practice without supervision and free from any disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a nurturing attitude towards clients.
• Proficiency in computer use and consistent access to stable Wi-Fi for seamless remote counseling sessions.

While the mandatory qualifications are crucial, candidates with prior experience in substance use and recovery counseling, as well as familiarity with trauma-informed care practices, will be given preference. Experience in a remote work setting is also beneficial.
