Job Summary
The Director of Sales is a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and strengthening customer partnerships. This role develops and executes sales strategies that expand existing accounts, win new business, and support Vomela's growth objectives. Working closely with operations, marketing, finance, and executive leadership, the Director of Sales ensures a consultative, customer-focused approach that delivers innovative solutions and exceptional client experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong business acumen, and a passion for building teams, developing client relationships, and driving growth in a project-driven, multi-location manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do...
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Own and deliver the Western territory's revenue and margin targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention across regional and national fleet accounts.
  • Establish sales objectives, forecasts, and strategic plans for key markets, territories, and fleet accounts.
  • ldentify new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging customer needs.
  • Build and strengthen executive-level customer relationships while supporting major sales presentations, negotiations, and account growth initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and profitability metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure disciplined Salesforce usage, pipeline hygiene, and forecast accuracy across the team.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and develop a team of sales professionals across the Western region to achieve individual and organizational goals.
  • Set quotas and territory assignments, manage performance, and help build the hiring plan to close coverage gaps.
  • Establish clear expectations, accountability measures, and performance standards.
  • Support talent development through coaching, mentoring, recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Customer Engagement & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to fleet and transportation customers by aligning Vomela's solutions with their brand and business objectives.
  • Represent Vomela at industry events, trade shows, and key customer engagements.
  • Partner with operations, project management, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth.
  • Partner with project management, account management, and operations to scope, quote, and execute complex multi-location fleet graphics programs and nationwide rollouts profitably.
  • Drive pricing and margin discipline on custom bids in partnership with leadership.
  • Support pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and process improvements that enhance the customer experience and protect margin.

Requirements
What You'll Bring...
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent progessional experience
  • 8+ years of experience in sales leadership, business development, account management, or related roles. Proven success leading sales teams, developing growth strategies, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience in fleet or vehicle graphics, large-format printing, experiential marketing, live events, branded environments, retail activations, signage, printing, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales performance, forecasts, and financial data.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Strategic, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
