Job description

FSG is the solution for operational excellence being sought by private fund managers who wish to focus solely on raising capital and identifying investment opportunities. We support the entire life-cycle of our clients' private funds and management company, managing the execution of investments, the experience of their investors, and the compliance, finance and human resource solutions needed to satisfy all regulatory requirements. Our team is asked to serve our clients with consistent excellence and accountability, while being allowed to live their definition of success. We focus on bringing new team members on board who share our passion for providing excellence in our service, while never wavering from our Principles of integrity, effort, communication and protecting time with our families.
Vice President - Transformation & Technology
FSG is the opportunity to learn and experience the finance industry for a people-oriented, hard-working, team player. Our unique culture is built by the team and for the team. Our compensation structure provides unlimited upside to our team members. We will teach you all that you need to know to be successful on our team, so we do not require any specific degree or work history. We just hope you are as non-traditional and eager to prove yourself as we are!
Your key responsibilities are to deliver white glove service and honor the FSG Principles while:
  • Collaborate with leaders on process gaps to drive innovative collaboration and creative problem solving
  • Identify potential solutions for bottlenecks, limitations, and capacity constraints within processes and technologies, including possible AI and automation enhancements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess viability of solutions and test for fit/impact within processes
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and processes via project and change management, support of training, and delivery of user-consumable documentation
  • Oversee knowledge management content to ensure it remains complete, relevant, and educational
  • Oversee capture and maintenance of client "stories", processes, technologies, and delivery of consumable content
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to ensure team trainings are delivering relevant stories aligned with team member roles as well as delivering relevant process and technology education

Our requirements for you as an applicant are simple:
  • Experience (3-5 years) leading change management, technology roadmap creation, documentation and execution, and/or knowledge management within the alternative investment space
  • Familiarity with FIS Investran components, Hazeltree, Snowflake, and/or WorldCheck preferred
  • Passion for change and technology as part of the FSG commitment to support our team finding their success
  • Commitment to understanding, learning and asking the extra question(s) that allow for full understanding
  • Be unafraid of open-ended challenges and capable of working backwards from output challenges to identify core process and input issues
  • Be a team player while learning all we teach you quickly, comprehensively, and enthusiastically
  • Be exceptional in your organizational and written communication skills with an exacting attention to detail
  • Be exemplary in prioritization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

If you excel in your responsibilities and fulfill your requirements, our commitment to you is:
  • Comprehensive benefits
  • Base salary commensurate with experience and success: The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000
  • Quarterly bonus that offers unlimited potential growth - 1/3rd of our profits (no matter how much) are shared with our team in bonuses each quarter

We are primarily a remote work company, but some of the training for this role may be best delivered in-person leveraging client sites or local coworking locations. Our clients also ask us to provide on-site support from time-to-time. In the interview process, we can outline expectations about what, if any, in-person training or support time is expected to be required for this role.
You will be successful when you deliver exemplary service to our clients and their investors, fulfill the FSG vision and purpose, and bring success to the entire FSG team. We are excited to have you join our team and appreciate your interest in joining us on a journey to success!
