Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough nutrition assessments to develop tailored care plans that align with each patient's medical history, personal preferences, and dietary goals.
• Deliver evidence-based nutrition counseling, providing clear and actionable guidance on healthy eating habits, disease prevention, and effective management strategies.
• Monitor patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as needed while coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to treatment.
• Engage in nutrition-focused physical examinations and analyze biochemical data to assess and interpret patients' nutritional statuses.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights that shape effective treatment plans alongside physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
• Support patients facing specialized dietary challenges, such as insulin therapy guidance, carbohydrate counting, weight management, and navigating food allergies or gastrointestinal disorders.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions, assessments, and care plans to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Stay informed on the latest research and nutritional guidelines, applying your knowledge to enhance the care provided to our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with diabetes and related health concerns, who often require customized dietary interventions to manage their conditions effectively. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, offering support that empowers them to take charge of their health through informed dietary choices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is mandatory.
• Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in Arizona.
• In-depth knowledge of nutritional science, dietary guidelines, and effective medical nutrition therapy practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth or remote patient interactions is advantageous.
• Previous work with patients managing diabetes or other metabolic disorders.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience, as well as performance bonuses to reward your contributions. In addition to financial compensation, we provide:
