Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of therapeutic activities. You will:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients, including individuals, adolescents, and families, to determine their unique needs.
  • Engage in initial evaluations, triaging care appropriately and formulating individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessment findings.
  • Foster effective communication with team members regarding client status, treatment interventions, and care plans via documentation and regular collaborative meetings.
  • Demonstrate the proficiency required to provide holistic care, addressing the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of each patient, regardless of age.
  • Manage a caseload through case management practices, coordinating with community professionals and programs to ensure comprehensive service delivery and support.
  • Timely and ethically complete all necessary documentation to meet departmental requirements.
  • Implement evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities in assisting clients and families in achieving their treatment goals.
