Work Environment

As a fully remote role, this position allows you to work from anywhere while being part of a dynamic and inclusive team. Gracious Growth Counseling Center operates Monday through Saturday, giving you the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your personal needs while meeting those of our clients. We manage all administrative tasks, including credentialing, insurance participation, and scheduling, allowing our therapists to focus solely on providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will engage in a variety of tasks that are essential for delivering comprehensive therapy services. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individual clients, adolescents, families, and groups, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.
• Formulating and implementing tailored treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to aid in the development of individualized service plans.
• Collaborating with colleagues through documentation and participation in multidisciplinary meetings, to enhance the care pathway of all clients served.
• Providing case management support for assigned patients, enabling seamless communication and cooperation with community resources and professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Completing clinical documentation in a timely and ethical manner, as mandated by departmental protocols.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and treatments, contributing to the overall quality of care provided by our center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, offering support to individuals from various backgrounds dealing with a spectrum of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be vital in helping clients navigate issues surrounding anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other significant life challenges. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required; relevant advanced degrees are highly preferred.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential for this role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and interventions beyond CBT.
• Proven track record of working effectively in a remote environment.

Compensation and Benefits
