Job Qualifications
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the State of Oregon
• Active DEA license and prescriptive authority
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical and administrative teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered, and trauma-informed care
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous outpatient psychiatric or behavioral health experience
• Experience treating diverse populations across the lifespan
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of community behavioral health resources and integrated care models
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment recommendations
• Support a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused clinical environment

Pay Structure
This position is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, offering providers the flexibility and autonomy to manage their practice in a way that aligns with their professional and personal goals. Clinicians have the ability to set their own schedules, determine availability, and manage their preferred caseload while maintaining independence in their practice.
At this time, Willamette Valley Behavioral Health is seeking fully licensed mental health professionals who meet all state licensure requirements for independent practice. Candidates who are currently in the process of obtaining full licensure are encouraged to apply once their license has been finalized and is active within the state of Oregon.
