Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

Qualifications

We require candidates to have the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Possession of a current and active license in the state of California as a Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in utilizing remote counseling tools and electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, ideal candidates will have experience working with marginalized communities and familiarity with the specific challenges Black birthing families encounter. Previous experience in outpatient settings or providing telehealth services is also highly desirable.
