Job Description

SOSi is seeking a JIRA Administrator to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Configure and maintain JIRA workflows, projects, and issue tracking systems.
  • Manage and optimize JIRA configurations to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Integrate JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, and other DevOps tools.
  • Support Agile methodologies and related project management practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to JIRA administration.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to improve processes and system functionality.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and managing JIRA workflows.
  •  Experience managing issue tracking systems and workflow automation.
  •  Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflow development and permission management.
  • Experience integrating JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, dashboard customization, and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator certification.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
