Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $89,400.00 - $134,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
As a Product Manager II within the Inventory Solutions portfolio at Cox Automotive you will work within a release train that supports Manheim, Central Dispatch, or Ready Logistics. Manheim is the leading Automotive Wholesale Marketplace and operates 70+ auction facilities, managing over 4 million vehicles annually. Central Dispatch is the leading automotive logistics digital marketplace, allowing shippers to connect directly with carriers to facilitate over 17M vehicle moves every year. Ready Logistics is one of the largest automotive logistics brokers in North America, acting as a managed service that moves vehicles on a shipper's behalf.
In this role, you will translate business strategy and stakeholder insights into actionable product plans, define and prioritize requirements at the epic and feature level, and maintain a well-groomed product roadmap. You will collaborate closely with release train leaders and team members across product, engineering, UX, and operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of platform capabilities that maximize value. Your responsibilities will span product discovery, roadmap definition in partnership with product leadership, stakeholder engagement, go-to-market planning, and identification of future platform opportunities based on organizational objectives and operational needs.
What You'll Do
Provide Product Management support for assigned inspection and imaging product(s) or technology components.
Leverage feedback from inspectors, buyers, sellers and reconditioning teams, along with business strategy, damage detection analytics, user experience and imaging technology to create positive, effective inspection experiences across physical and digital channels.
Represent requirements from field inspectors, auction operations, and seller networks to drive feature implementation and development with imaging technology, mobile app, and AI/ML teams.
Map inspection requirements with target market segments (wholesale auctions, retail dealers, OEM remarketing) and analyzes which channels to actively pursue.
Define archetypical users of assigned inspection products or imaging services (mobile inspectors, stationary lane photographers, remote condition reviewers, buyer decision-makers).
Partner with imaging operations, technology teams, and business stakeholders to develop business case documentation for new inspection capabilities and imaging infrastructure investments.
Leverage standard techniques and tools to analyze/monitor product KPIs such as inspection completion rates, image quality scores, damage detection accuracy, and turnaround times to ensure achievement of success metrics.
Identify opportunities for testing and product enhancements based on analysis of inspection data, image quality metrics, and field feedback.
Support resolution of inspection workflow issues, imaging equipment problems, and mobile app challenges; creates product collateral and training materials, monitoring results and feedback from pilot deployments and rollouts.
Identify and ensures appropriate dissemination of lessons learned across inspection sites, coordinating and facilitating communication and creative collaboration between field operations, technology teams, and business stakeholders.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in product management, operations, or technology; or a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in product management, inspection operations, imaging technology, or automotive remarketing with no degree.
Foundational skills in managing multiple priorities across field operations and technology, requirements analysis for inspection workflows, system and technology integration (imaging hardware, mobile apps, APIs).
Acts with integrity and has foundational skills in building partnerships across operations and technology teams, driving innovation in product methodology, and focusing on execution of field deployments.
Preferred
Experience in Automotive industry desired.
Technology savvy in emerging areas like Computer Vision and AI-driven damage detection.
Experience driving innovation in inspection methodologies, focusing on execution of field deployments, and striving for excellence in inspection quality and efficiency
