Job description

Merchandising Coordinator, Fine Jewelry Merchandising - Remote

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Merchandising Coordinator to join our Merchandising team and support the growth of our Fine Jewelry business. The ideal candidate brings a genuine appreciation for fine jewelry craftsmanship and design, paired with strong analytical instincts and a collaborative spirit. In this role, you will support product lifecycle and launch initiatives across cross-functional teams — including Design, Production, Planning, Ecommerce, and Marketing — ensuring a seamless product experience across all customer touchpoints.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Run regular business reporting to evaluate product and category performance, including growth, mix and profitability.
  • Support team members across all stages of the product lifecycle from line plan to launch, assisting on collection briefing, design brainstorm, costing, and downstream product launch initiatives.
  • Conduct competitor reviews to monitor trends, pricing, promotional activity, and product introductions.
  • Participate in the product development process, partnering with category merchants to build product assortments that support sales and growth plans.
  • Maintain accurate SKU attribute and pricing information.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including production, operations, marketing, and site merchandising to launch new product and drive category performance.

Specific qualifications include:

  • BA degree or equivalent, preferred
  • 2 years of analytical experience or corporate merchandising experience in a consumer-based retail environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to synthesize data in Excel through the use of pivot tables and lookup functions to understand business trends and provide forward-thinking insight.
  • Extremely detail oriented and exceptional time management skills and accountability
  • Strong ability to work individually and as a team player to execute projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
  • Entrepreneurial attitude/self-starter
  • Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products
  • A curiosity and appreciation for product, jewelry, and design
  • Experience with sales and data management software; experience with Domo, NetSuite, or similar, a plus.
  • Comfort working with data tools and emerging technologies, including familiarity with AI-assisted workflows or a curiosity to learn.
