Position: Oracle Integration Cloud Technical Consultant (OIC)

Location: Remote (USA)

Duration: Long term contract

Position Overview:

Client in USA is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Technical Consultant to support and enhance our enterprise integration landscape. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in designing, building, deploying, and supporting OIC integrations across Oracle ERP Cloud and other enterprise systems. You will work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, offshore teams, and external partners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

OIC Development & Integrations:

  • Design, build, and optimize integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) including Integrations, Orchestration, Visual Builder, and Process Automation.
  • Develop integrations between Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials, SCM, HCM) and third-party applications.
  • Configure and support OIC adapters (REST, SOAP, FTP, ICS, DB, ERP Cloud, Workday, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Build and manage REST APIs, SOAP services, and event-based integrations using Oracle PaaS tools.
  • Create and troubleshoot mappings using XSLT, JSON, XML, JavaScript, and transformation rules.

Technical Delivery:

  • Lead end-to-end integration lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare.
  • Implement best-practice patterns for performance, reusability, error handling, and logging.
  • Optimize integration run times and resolve technical bottlenecks.
  • Maintain technical documentation, integration catalogs, API libraries, and support SOPs.

Support & Operations:

  • Troubleshoot integration failures, performance issues, and data flow problems.
  • Provide production support, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
  • Work with Oracle Support for SR management and platform-level issues.

Collaboration & Governance:

  • Work with cross-functional teams (ERP, HCM, Supply Chain, Finance, Security, Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Ensure integrations adhere to security, data privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Support change management, release planning, and integration governance processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in integration development, with 3+ years hands-on OIC.
  • Strong experience in OIC Design, Orchestration, Connectivity Agents, Schedules, and Adapters.
  • Experience integrating with Oracle ERP Cloud (SaaS) or E-Business Suite.
  • Proficiency in XSLT, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, JavaScript, SQL, and Web Services.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, integration security, OAuth, and API best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS) UI applications.
  • Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite, ICS, or legacy middleware platforms.
  • Familiarity with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) services.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
