Job description

Lead Java Backend Developer

Location: Remote

Long term contract

Required skills: in Java 7 (preferably Java 8), Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, NodeJS, GCP (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run Services) and some Knowledge on Genesis

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer (Lead) proficient in crafting and delivering independent standalone microservices. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, NodeJS, GCP (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run Services), and a foundational understanding of Genesis. You will be responsible for leading and developing robust, scalable microservices solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

· Proven track record of delivering independent standalone microservices in a production environment.

· Extensive hands-on experience (13+ years) in Java development, Spring Boot frameworks.

· Experience Java 8

· Experience with Microservices Architecture, NodeJS, and cloud services, particularly GCP (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run Services).

· Familiarity or exposure to Genesis with a willingness to deepen understanding in this area.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

· Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
