They use video conferencing tools or specialized platforms to guide individuals or groups through destinations, museums, or cultural sites, all while speaking Japanese. This role requires fluency in Japanese, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the local culture and history. Remote guides often work with international travelers or Japanese-speaking audiences who want to explore new places from the comfort of their own homes. Their work helps make travel experiences accessible to those unable to travel physically.

How does a remote Japanese speaking tour guide typically collaborate with local partners and clients to ensure a seamless virtual tour experience?

This often involves scheduling calls, sharing digital resources, and troubleshooting connectivity or platform issues in real time. Effective communication and adaptability are key, as you'll need to respond to client questions, adjust to different group dynamics, and sometimes customize content based on the audience's interests. Building strong professional relationships with local contacts also helps ensure accurate, up-to-date information and smooth logistics for each tour.

Job description

Spanish / English Bilingual Outreach Coordinator
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Type: 1099 contractor
About Medsien
Medsien is transforming how healthcare is delivered beyond the hospital walls. We are the leading provider of scalable Remote Care Management solutions, blending innovative technology with compassionate human connection.
Through our hybrid approach-combining certified care partners with AI-powered dashboards, seamless EHR integration, and device connectivity-we help providers offer continuous, proactive care to patients with chronic conditions. Our mission is simple: help patients stay healthier, at home, and connected to their care teams while easing the workload for providers and practice.
We're scaling quickly and are looking for driven Spanish speaking bilingual Outreach Coordinators who are excited to grow their careers in phone sales while making a real impact on patient health.
About the Role
As an Outreach Coordinator, you'll step into a role of patient outreach and enrollment by phone- but with a key difference: Your job is to connect with patients over the phone, build trust, educate them about the benefits, and compassionately guide them through enrollment.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop sales skills while also bringing empathy and patient care to conversations with elderly and often vulnerable patients. Success in this role comes from balancing sales drive with compassionate communication.
What you'll do
  • Connect with patients on the Medsien platform
  • Build rapport quickly and communicate program benefits with clarity and empathy
  • Listen to patient concerns, handle objections with compassion, and help them feel supported
  • Guide patients step-by-step through the enrollment process with patience and professionalism
  • Manage your patient call pipeline and follow up as needed to ensure smooth enrollment
  • Accurately document all interactions and outcomes in Medsien's systems
  • Collaborate with the clinical operations team to ensure patients are welcomed into ongoing care programs
Why this role is unique
  • Blend sales skills with empathy by helping patients access valuable care programs
  • Gain real-world experience in phone-based outreach, persuasion, and compassionate selling
  • Fully remote role with the backing of a supportive, mission-driven team
  • Be part of a healthcare startup where your work directly improves quality of life for patients
What we're looking for
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, professional phone presence
  • Ability to balance sales performance with empathy and patient care
  • Motivated by goals, targets, and performance-based results
  • Comfortable working in a high-call-volume sales environment while maintaining compassion
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-up
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote setting
  • Spanish knowledge
  • No healthcare background required -coachable, resilience, and a caring approach are what matter most
