Job description

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer | Location: Regional / Remote with travel

About Allegiance Industries

Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina, Allegiance Industries is a founder-led, debt-free facilities services company operating across 26 states with approximately 2,300 team members. We deliver services through four integrated lines of business — Janitorial, Security, Electrical, and Facility Management — self-performing our work with our own trained crews rather than brokering it out. That model gives our clients direct accountability and gives our sales leaders a story that is genuinely differentiated in the market.

The Opportunity

We are expanding our national field sales organization and are seeking a Regional Sales Director to own new business development within a defined territory. This is a senior, high-autonomy hunting role: you will identify, pursue, and close multi-site and single-site facilities services contracts with mid-market and enterprise clients, supported by a dedicated inside sales and lead generation team, a customer success function, and operations leadership committed to retaining what you win.

This role is a fit for a proven facilities, building services, or B2B outsourced-services sales professional who wants direct access to executive leadership, a fast decision-making environment, and the ability to shape a growing sales organization rather than inherit a mature one.

It is also a fit for an operations-driven candidate ready to move into sales. If you have spent your career in facilities services in a client-facing role — account management, site or regional operations, or service delivery leadership — you already have the two things that are hardest to teach: credibility with buyers and a real understanding of how this work gets delivered and priced. We will teach you the sales process, the CRM, and the pursuit discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Territory ownership — Own a defined regional territory and build a qualified pipeline of janitorial, security, electrical, and facility management opportunities.

• Full-cycle selling — Drive the full sales cycle — prospecting, discovery, site walks, solution design, pricing collaboration, proposal delivery, and contract close.

• Enterprise-level deals — Target contracts with an average annual value of $400K or more, selling at the director, VP, and C-suite level within client organizations.

• Inside sales partnership — Work in close partnership with our inside sales and lead generation team — actively pursue the qualified opportunities they deliver, provide timely feedback on outcomes, and complement that flow with your own self-generated pipeline.

• Operations partnership — Collaborate with operations leadership on solution design, pricing, and seamless account startup.

• Pipeline discipline — Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and a consistent activity cadence across the territory.

• Market presence — Represent Allegiance at industry associations, trade events, and regional networking channels to build long-term market presence.

Performance Expectations

This role carries a $4 million annual new-business quota. With an average contract value of $400K+ per year, success looks like approximately ten new account wins annually — a pace our current field sales leaders sustain with the support of our inside sales engine and lead generation team. Candidates joining from an operations background follow a structured onboarding and ramp plan, with first-year targets adjusted to reflect that ramp. Progress is measured on qualified pipeline development, sales-accepted opportunities, closed annual contract value, and the retention quality of the business you bring in.

What You Bring

• Sales path — 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling facilities services, building services, or comparable outsourced or contract services.

or

• Operations path — 5+ years in facilities services, building services, or a comparable contract-services environment in a client-facing role, with a track record of growing, expanding, and retaining client relationships. No prior quota-carrying experience required; we train the sales process.

• Commercial evidence — For sales-path candidates, a documented record of closing six-figure annual contract value deals and carrying a multi-million-dollar quota. For operations-path candidates, evidence of commercial impact: organic account growth, renewals, scope expansions, or ownership of pricing and margin.

• Strong consultative selling skills — or the operational and financial fluency to build them quickly — including comfort with labor-based service pricing.

• Established relationships or demonstrated ability to build them among property management, corporate real estate, healthcare, industrial, and education decision-makers.

• Self-directed work ethic, comfort with regional travel, and proficiency with modern CRM tools.

Why Allegiance

• Stability — A founder-led, debt-free company that invests in growth from a position of financial strength.

• Speed — Direct access to the CRO and executive team — decisions on pricing, solutions, and strategy happen in days, not quarters.

• Differentiation — A self-performing delivery model that gives you a credible, differentiated story in every pursuit.

• Advancement — A growing sales organization where early leaders shape the playbook, the territory map, and their own trajectory.

• Development — Structured sales onboarding, CRM and pricing training, and direct coaching from the CRO for operators making the move into sales.

• Compensation — Competitive base salary and uncapped commission structure, discussed during the interview process.
