• Conduct confidential virtual therapy sessions, skillfully utilizing secure video conferencing technology to engage with clients.
• Thoroughly assess clients’ mental health needs through comprehensive intake interviews and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for each client based on their individual assessments, goals, and therapeutic needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to address a range of mental health issues, employing various therapeutic modalities as needed.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including detailed progress notes and updated treatment plans, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, both within and outside the organization, to provide integrated care and enhance clients' support networks.
• Adhere to the highest ethical and legal standards of mental health counseling, remaining informed on ongoing changes in legislation and best practices.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and educational opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Your work will primarily focus on adults experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a member of our team, you will provide compassionate care to individuals seeking support during some of their most difficult moments, significantly impacting their recovery journey.

• A Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating effective therapeutic practices.
• Experience with virtual counseling and a strong comfort level with technology for client communication and information management.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Self-motivated and capable of managing a flexible schedule while prioritizing clients’ needs.

• Experience working with diverse populations and an awareness of multicultural issues in counseling.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the nuances of online therapy.
• Proficiency in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

The compensation package for this position includes a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to USD 95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
