Senior Project Manager
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to help us support our continued growth.The Project Manager is responsible for leading a projectโ€™s delivery team through the successful delivery of all projects. Project Managers may be managing one or more client engagements at the same time. They manage Coastal Cloud resources and interface with client members to most effectively meet budget, delivery and customer satisfaction goals. They manage risks and resolve issues via regular status meetings with the project team and all stakeholders as well as internal escalation paths and support systems.
Please note that this role will require onsite availability (Tuesday-Thursday) at our client's location in Hartford, CT.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Leads delivery teams, drives desired professional behaviors and motivates the team to the highest levels of performance, ensuring that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully
  • Leads large-scale and enterprise level Salesforce implementation projects, ranging in size and duration, with a focus on complex engagements with multiple workstreams
  • Manages and builds the client relationship throughout the engagement, fostering trust, collaboration, and partnership growth
  • Leverages a deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite in order to validate key design options and present proposal solutions to all levels of client management
  • Validate Statement of Work and technical solution, defined by Solution Architect, meets client business goals and objectives and monitors work against the solution as project progresses; ensuring remaining budget covers remaining scope.
  • Create, maintain, and own the risk register, identifying potential people, process, and technology risks, adjusting project plans and escalating communications to address them proactively
  • Ability to identify, build and present Change Orders in partnership with the Solution Architect (scope) with minimal oversight from Account Engagement Manager or Director
  • Create and manage a Resource Plan; adhering to budget and expected team member allocations while assigning work in a way that maximizes contribution margin.
  • Understand Project ROI and KPIs; work with the Solution Architect to collect customer success stories, report against value and drive to 5/5 CSATs
  • Strong adherence to the standards, templates, and processes set by Coastal Cloud, leveraging company project management tools to manage work and budget. Support continuous delivery process improvement across the team.
  • Manage project payments through team timesheet review and approval, invoice approval, and escalation of concerns or delays.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to Coastal Cloud project team members and maintains accurate metrics of performance throughout implementations
  • Travels with client or project team as needed
Experience/Skills Required:
  • Minimum seven years of full life-cycle Salesforce implementation experience as Project Manager, with experience providing strong leadership and delivery oversight on complex and enterprise-level engagements
  • Strong client management and communication skills, ability to build relationships with high-level internal and external stakeholders with a focus on building trust and collaboration
  • Ability to maintain oversight and organization of multiple large level projects ranging in duration, size, and budget with multiple complex work streams in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Exposure to Multiple Salesforce Clouds and integration with additional SaaS platforms
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills, ability to lead high-level stakeholders in technical discussions and project oversight, providing guidance and building trust
  • Ability to lead internal team stand-ups, providing guidance and mentorship throughout the project delivery lifecycle
  • Direct employee management experience
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Salesforce IT Project Implementation
