• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and context of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.
• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and empower them with knowledge about treatment options and self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress consistently, documenting changes, and modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records that adhere strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.
• Advocate for clients, emphasizing mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental illnesses.

Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting clients who are experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. • Must possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
