Position: Retail Investment Research Specialist (Individual Investor Focus)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $105–$200/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Research stocks, sectors, and market trends using publicly available and professional tools such as TradingView and financial news.
  • Formulate and articulate investment theses, including entry/exit reasoning, catalysts, and risks.
  • Analyze price movements and market events, distinguishing between noise and meaningful signals.
  • Evaluate AI-generated insights for clarity, usefulness, and accuracy.
  • Provide feedback on whether outputs improve decision confidence or create confusion.
  • Simulate real-world investor workflows, including idea discovery, validation, and portfolio monitoring.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Active participation in public markets (equities, ETFs, or similar instruments).
  • Demonstrated habit of researching and tracking investments independently.
  • Ability to explain why a stock is moving or whether a move matters.
  • Strong intuition for market sentiment, narratives, and behavioral patterns.
