We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager who can take ownership of a sales territory and build meaningful partnerships that create long-term value. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a sales territory by building strong relationships with existing members/customers while developing new business opportunities. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver solutions, maintain customer satisfaction, and drive territory growth.
Territory includes Madison, Milwaukee, and areas extending to the Illinois border. The position is classified as remote because our office is located in Greenville, Wisconsin; however, this is a client-facing role that requires daily travel throughout the assigned territory. Candidates should reside within or near the territory.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation amp; Sales
    • Manage the full sales cycle by identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, presenting quotes, and closing sales.
    • Promote VCA programs and solutions to address customer needs, differentiate our offerings, and grow market share.
    • Maintain a proactive outreach schedule to strengthen customer relationships and achieve territory goals.
    • Develop and refine target customer lists to focus efforts on high-value opportunities.
  • Relationship Management
    • Build lasting partnerships through regular sales calls, events, follow-ups, and ongoing communication.
    • Collaborate with customers to forecast inventory needs and support efficient stock management.
    • Maintain accurate CRM records to support communication, visibility, and long-term relationship growth.
  • Sales Process amp; Collaboration
    • Record customer interactions, sales activities, and market information in CRM and sales systems.
    • Partner with internal teams to streamline processes, solve operational challenges, and improve customer experience.
    • Monitor inventory and shipment status to help ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of product or service sales experience, preferably in a consultative sales environment.
  • Proven ability to manage accounts, resolve customer concerns, and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
