Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport are seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Radiologist who is fellowship trained in vascular and interventional radiology to join a well-established, collegial practice of subspecialty-trained and general radiologists in the Department of Radiology.

Highlights of the Position:

  • Our health sciences center is home tothe School of Medicine, School of Graduate Studies and School of Allied Health Professions and a robust research enterprise. More than 800 students are enrolled in the degree programs at any one time. Additionally, nearly 600 residents and fellows are trained each year.
  • Home to the only Level I Trauma center in the surrounding region, and one of only two in the state.
  • Physician leadership and input at all levels of administration.
  • EPIC medical record platform utilized
  • Assistant or Associate level position
  • 5,000 studies performed annually

This position:

  • Combines teaching and patient care.
  • Performs a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures.
  • Emphasizes teaching and provides vitally importantleadership and guidance to medical students and residents.
  • Is part of an IR integrated residency, with early specialization in interventional radiology.
