Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will support physicians by providing high-quality imaging and assisting in a variety of minimally invasive procedures. This role requires a high level of technical skill, excellent patient care, and the ability to work efficiently in high-stress situations.

Duties

  • Prepare and position patients for IR procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and CT.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing imaging support and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in electronic health record systems, such as Epic or Meditech.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Experience with fluoroscopy, angiography, and other advanced imaging equipment.
  • One year of diagnostic imaging experience.
  • Experience in interventional radiology and/or Cath lab preferred.
  • One year of pediatric imaging experience preferred.

Requirements

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Current Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency MRTBE license
