Pay Range $1,440 per credit hour
Pay DeterminationSalary offers at Syracuse University will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months' salary unless otherwise specified.

Job DescriptionMarriage & Family Therapy is seeking a part-time instructor to teach MFT 603 (3
credits) Introduction to Trauma Studies (Online MFT MA Program) during the Spring 2026 semester.
Course Description: This course is an overview of trauma studies and examines trauma typology, prevention, and intervention and is taught through an ecosystemic lens.
The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate history within the hiring department.
All course offerings are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
Qualifications - MA or PhD, and previous teaching experience.
- LMFT or equivalent.

- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner
- Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations
