Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services directly to clients facing significant mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both in the office and community settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse team members, working towards common goals while demonstrating respect for diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Function within established organizational and financial structures, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and the conduct code of Rush Counseling Center.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and determined interventions, including brief screening assessments and if necessary, arranging for more in-depth evaluations.
  • Create and implement integrated care plans, ensuring seamless access to essential services and fostering open communication amongst clients, families, and providers.
  • Deliver a range of timely and focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services tailored to individual client needs.
  • Engage in crisis intervention efforts as required, providing immediate support and assistance to clients in distress.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload, overseeing client assessments, therapy sessions (individual, group, and family), and ensuring treatment aligns with client requests and presenting challenges.
  • Monitor client progress, alongside managing admission criteria, continuous stay, and discharge processes to promote successful outcomes.
  • Submit necessary reports and data in compliance with agency requirements and timelines.
  • Participate in on-call coverage as assigned, providing support during off-hours to ensure continuous care.
  • Engage in departmental committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and quality improvement initiatives.
