• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses, documenting findings to inform therapeutic strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring these plans are tailored to their unique needs and goals.
• Facilitate both group and individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in their therapeutic journey.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
• Maintain accurate intake records, treatment documentation, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and clinic policies.
• Participate in case consultations and supervision to ensure a high level of accountability and support.
• Engage in community outreach programs to support clients in need and promote mental health awareness.
• Contribute to team meetings and professional development opportunities to further enhance service delivery and team dynamics.

As a Senior LPC at Riverplace, you will work primarily with a diverse population, including youth and adults facing mental health and substance use challenges. Understanding the unique backgrounds of our clients is essential, as we strive to create a welcoming environment for individuals from all walks of life, with particular emphasis on culturally competent care.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of five years of professional counseling experience, particularly in a community health or mental health setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, along with evidence-based practices for treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Experience in treating co-occurring disorders, including substance use and mental health issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and coding processes.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available for exceptional candidates.
