This full-time position allows you to work remotely, providing essential mental health services to clients in the Glen Burnie, Maryland area. Work Environment

You will work in a fully remote setting, which allows for flexibility in managing your schedule while still connecting with clients in an outpatient capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify the mental health needs of your clients, creating tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver high-quality therapy services to individuals, groups, and families, ensuring a broad approach to mental health challenges.
  • Engage in regular collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, facilitating coordinated care that addresses multiple facets of clients' wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse client base, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications
  • A current and independent license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport and establishing trusted relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence, allowing you to connect effectively with clients from all backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for efficient management of case documentation and client scheduling.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in providing therapeutic services and working with outpatient mental health clients.
  • Experience with a variety of therapeutic approaches and a deep understanding of evidence-based practices.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation is preferred.
