Job description

Job Title: ADE - Field Sales Representative (Denton Area)
Job Description
This field-based role supports a new delivery program by recruiting local businesses to join a hub delivery partner network across the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. You will visit prospective businesses, present the program opportunity, qualify leads, guide applicants through the onboarding process, and help drive referrals through community organizations and local influencers. You will work closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, manage your pipeline in Salesforce, and support recruitment events. The position involves regular travel within a driving radius of up to two hours and offers uncapped commission based on partner conversions.
Responsibilities
  • Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within approximately 90 minutes driving distance to promote the delivery partner program.
  • Present and pitch the new delivery program opportunity to prospective businesses in person and generate interest in applying.
  • Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application and onboarding process.
  • Lead and track sales activity, manage a robust pipeline of prospects, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce, economic development associations, and other community organizations, to drive referrals.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure data is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with prospective partners, addressing questions, overcoming objections, and providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Travel daily within a territory of up to four hours round-trip to meet with businesses and attend events as needed.
  • Consistently work toward and exceed recruitment and conversion goals to maximize commission earnings.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and strong follow-through in all interactions with prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues that applicants encounter in the field, providing practical solutions and support.

Essential Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service roles.
  • Proven outside or field sales experience, including door-to-door or territory-based sales.
  • Hands-on experience using a CRM system; Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to pitch and explain program benefits clearly.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, enthusiasm for working with others, and a strong sense of urgency.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to solve problems for applicants in real time while in the field.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience working across multiple systems and technology platforms, including Excel and CRM tools.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to four hours round trip daily within the assigned territory.
  • Comfort working independently in a field-based role while maintaining accountability for results.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience in roles that involved sales negotiations with customers is a plus.
  • Previous field sales experience beyond the minimum requirement is an advantage.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish or Hindi are preferred and can enhance success in the role.
  • Experience collaborating with community organizations, chambers of commerce, or economic development groups is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with last-mile delivery or logistics programs is helpful but not required.

Work Environment
This is a primarily field-based position, with 4-5 days per week spent visiting businesses and attending community events across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. When not in the field, you will work from home to manage your Salesforce pipeline, follow up with prospects, and prepare for upcoming visits and events. You will use technology tools such as Salesforce and Excel regularly to track activities and performance. The position offers uncapped commission, with earnings tied directly to the number of partners you convert, and includes structured incentives such as per-partner payouts, milestone-based bonuses, and additional monthly incentives for hitting goals. Mileage is reimbursed at a set rate per mile. Paid time off is available, with two weeks of PTO offered after six months of successful performance.
