About the Opportunity
TechStaffers is currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious AmLaw 200 law firm with a significant national and international footprint. We are seeking a dedicated Mid-to-Senior Level Trial Attorney to join their Litigation Business Unit in Southern California.
This is a unique opportunity to join an agile, collaborative team focused exclusively on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. If you are a litigator with a passion for the courtroom and a track record of advocacy, this role offers a stable platform to hone your skills with a top-tier firm.
Note: Prior warranty law experience is not required. We are looking for strong trial skills; the subject matter can be taught.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a lead or co-counsel in defending warranty actions for major automotive clients.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, including extensive motion practice, depositions, and mediation.
  • Conduct trials and arbitrations, including delivering opening statements and closing arguments, and performing witness examinations.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop defense strategies and ensure consistent delivery of outstanding service to clients.
  • Draft high-quality legal briefs, pleadings, and reports.
Qualifications
  • Bar Admission: Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Experience: 5+ years of litigation experience is required.
  • Trial Skills: Extensive experience in trial and arbitration is mandatory (openings, closings, witness exams).
  • Education: Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional advocacy and negotiation skills, detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong interpersonal communication abilities.
