About the Role
As an Exercise Specialist, you will play a central role in delivering personalized, high-touch exercise programming. This position sits at the intersection of clinical precision and practical coaching - you will assess, design, implement, and evolve exercise programs that meaningfully impact long-term health outcomes.
You will work under the direction of the Manager of Exercise & Movement and in close collaboration with our physicians, nutritionists, and physical therapist. Our care model is physician-led and multidisciplinary, and your responsibility is to ensure that exercise programming integrates seamlessly into each patient's broader medical and longevity strategy.
This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You should be equally comfortable leading assessments, designing and periodizing programs, interpreting performance data, troubleshooting barriers, and collaborating across disciplines. You will work with a discerning patient population that expects precision, professionalism, discretion, and responsiveness. Emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills are essential.
We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated growth mindset and a long-standing pattern, personally and professionally, of intellectual curiosity and pursuit of mastery. Throughout your tenure, you will have structured opportunities to expand your expertise across emerging modalities and longevity science.
What You'll Do

  • Own the exercise journey for your patients from onboarding through long-term progression.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including strength testing, movement analysis, force plate and isometric testing, CPET, and DEXA-informed programming.
  • Design individualized, periodized exercise programs aligned with each patient's goals, clinical profile, and long-term health strategy (e.g., Marginal Decade, Centenarian Decathlon).
  • Provide ongoing coaching and accountability through virtual sessions, video feedback, messaging platforms, and structured program updates.
  • Properly progress and regress patient programs based on underlying orthopedic limitations or compensations determined from their bespoke assessment.
  • Monitor and interpret wearable and performance data to inform program adjustments.
  • Summarize patient analytics and progress into clear, actionable insights.
  • Facilitate onboarding preparation and bi-annual reassessments.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nutritionists, and other clinical stakeholders to ensure alignment across care plans.
  • Conduct industry research and propose new methodologies or refinements to the exercise framework.
  • Deliver a high-touch, white-glove experience at every patient interaction
How You'll Spend Your Time
Program Design & Direct Patient Coaching (45%)
  • Designing and adjusting individualized programs
  • Direct patient communication (Zoom, messaging platforms, programming tools)
  • Interpreting data and updating plans accordingly
Assessments & Re-Assessments (30%)
  • Conducting onboarding assessments
  • Facilitating bi-annual testing and reassessment
  • Measuring progress against defined health frameworks
Learning & Development (15%)
  • Participating in structured professional development
  • Researching emerging modalities and longevity science
  • Expanding depth across assessment and programming methods
Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
  • Coordinating with physicians, nutritionists, and operations
  • Serving as liaison across stakeholders regarding patient progress
What We're Looking For
  • 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience in strength & conditioning, exercise physiology, or high-level coaching environments.
  • Current and active NSCA, CSCS, or other accredited certification.
  • Experience working with high-performance or VIP clientele preferred.
  • Operational fluency, including familiarity with HIPAA compliance and CRM/EHR systems, preferred.
  • Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Capacity to balance big-picture program design with detailed execution.
  • A growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a visible commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A high standard of professionalism, empathy, reliability, and integrity.
Breadth across modalities. Familiarity with the following is a plus:
  • General strength & conditioning
  • Exercise physiology
  • Cardiovascular programming and energy system development
  • PRI, DNS, FRC, or similar systems
  • Working with orthopedic limitations
  • GLP-1 inhibitors and muscle mass retention
Specialized experience working with female patients is highly valued, particularly in:
  • Menstrual cycle-informed training
  • Pelvic floor health and core strength
  • Peri- and post-menopausal transitions
