  • This position is 100% remote, must be able to work east core hours (9:00am/5:00pm)
  • This position is a 6 month contract-to-hire
  • Administer and monitor contract performance on major government contracts.
  • Conduct the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for reviewing contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments / modifications, and incorporating changes.
  • Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identify risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditions and provide contractual advice, guidance, and support to the Contract Manager/Program Manager.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
  • Conduct proposal preparation for prime contractor RFPs.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions.
  • Under the Supervision of a Contract Manager analyze, prepare, and negotiate contractual agreements such as Teaming, Non-Disclosure, Memorandum of Understandings/Memorandum of Agreements, and other binding agreements as the business opportunity presents.
  • Act as primary point of contact between the Company and the Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts and projects including auxiliary agreements such as Proprietary Information Agreements.
  • Draft, prepare, and execute certain internal and external correspondence on contractual matters with increasing levels of autonomy but under the supervision of a Contracts Manager, commensurate with experience and demonstrated competence.
  • Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the official repository for all contractual documentation and correspondence relative to assigned contracts.
  • Prepare contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assemble contract documentation package.
  • Assist with subcontract negotiation and management.
  • Maintain effective internal and external customer relations.
  • Perform special projects as requested.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
  • Strong understanding of contract/purchase order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of the government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper use
  • Knowledge of government intellectual property (IP)/ software and data rights clauses and IP marking guidelines
  • Knowledge of source selection/evaluation process.
  • Knowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out, and records retention.
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of the project team (includes representing and interfacing with all levels of internal and/or external management.
  • Detailed knowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, POs teaming and other forms of agreements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in monitoring contracts/subcontracts of increasing complexity and value.
  • Membership in National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
  • General computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8years of directly related work experience.
  • Experience working proposal responses to Request for Proposal (RFP), participating in RFP and proposal review meetings, contract pre-award meetings, conducting negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract.
  • Experience managing Government contracts and Subcontracts with other Government Contractors under FAR, DFAR, and other agency supplements.
  • Experience preparing, maintaining, retrieving, and communicating records, reports, or documents that may be required to meet corporate and Contract Management requirements.
  • Experience performing closeout of contracts, finalizing outstanding contract issues, issuing final modifications, invoices, and coordinating completion of contractor performance evaluations.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills.
