Position Overview

Peaceful Paths Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote role. In this capacity, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health counseling services to a diverse client base. Your work will be instrumental in fostering emotional well-being and resilience among our clients, utilizing evidence-based methods and personalized treatment plans.

About the Organization

At Peaceful Paths Therapy, we pride ourselves on being a leading private outpatient mental health practice. Our mission is to deliver exceptional mental health services to adults, children, and families, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. We prioritize creating a safe and empathetic environment where healing can take place, promoting client wellness and growth.

Our collaborative approach involves working closely with Comprehensive Psychiatric Care to ensure that we provide an extensive range of therapeutic services. As an organization, we uphold values such as innovation, professionalism, and a commitment to the health and well-being of both our clients and our staff.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing flexibility and convenience for both our counselors and clients. As a telehealth provider, you will perform all therapeutic services through secure, HIPAA-compliant virtual platforms. Our digital infrastructure includes user-friendly tools designed for efficient documentation, client management, and communication, ensuring you can focus on what truly mattersโ€”your clients' mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, establishing trust and rapport while upholding professional boundaries and ethics.
  • Conduct client sessions on a weekly basis to evaluate progress, stabilize treatment needs, and determine eligibility for discharge as appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly monitor comprehensive, person-centered treatment plans that reflect the unique goals and needs of each client.
  • Document all client interactions accurately in line with legal and ethical standards, including maintaining up-to-date progress notes and intake assessments.
  • Participate in individual supervision sessions for professional reflection and growth, enhancing your clinical skills and therapeutic effectiveness.
  • Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to create an integrated care plan that addresses client needs comprehensively.
  • Adopt a growth mindset, continuously seeking ways to improve your practice and outcomes for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes a broad spectrum of individuals, from children and adolescents to adults and families, each presenting varying levels of mental health challenges. From anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders, our therapists work diligently to address these issues with compassion and expertise. We believe in a client-centered approach that honors personal experiences and empowers individuals to take an active role in their recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in mental health counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A current, unrestricted, and active LPC license in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience in a clinical outpatient setting following your graduate education.
  • Proficient in using various software systems, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY, for managing documentation and client information.
  • Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Comfortable conducting intake assessments and establishing treatment goals collaboratively with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques.
  • Familiarity with diverse therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
  • Prior experience working in multidisciplinary teams focused on patient-centered care.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, structured on a fee-for-service model that provides guaranteed rates paid in advance, eliminating delays typically associated with reimbursements. Additionally, our employees benefit from a range of perks including bonus opportunities, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance, a supportive 401(k) plan with employer contributions, and malpractice insurance coverage.

Career Growth Opportunities

Peaceful Paths Therapy is committed to the professional development of its team members. You will have opportunities for in-house cross-training across different aspects of mental health services, and you can earn free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to help grow your credentials. Our clinician-led leadership encourages innovation, inviting ideas that enhance practice, and create new protocols for better client outcomes.
