As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at Inner Peace, you will take on a variety of essential responsibilities, including:

• Managing a caseload of clients, developing and nurturing respectful and therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethical guidelines.
• Conducting regular sessions with clients to evaluate their progress, addressing emotional and psychological needs, and facilitating discharge planning as appropriate.
• Creating personalized, client-centered treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and monitoring their effectiveness over time.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and client assessments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
• Carrying out initial intake assessments to gather relevant histories and concerns that guide treatment planning.
• Participating in individual supervision sessions to enhance professional development and support your clinical skills.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, promoting holistic care strategies for clients.
• Embracing a growth mindset to continually improve therapeutic techniques and services.

Our practice serves a varied population, including adults, children, and families facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Understanding the unique needs of each client, you will tailor therapy sessions to foster healing and resilience while respecting cultural and individual differences.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• A valid, unrestricted, and current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.
• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a strong focus on achieving therapeutic goals.
• Comfort level with conducting intake assessments and formulating treatment plans based on client needs.

The following experience, while not required, would be advantageous in this role:

• Previous experience working within a telehealth framework and familiarity with remote counseling best practices.
• Interest or specialization in trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, or child and adolescent mental health.
• Knowledge of the latest evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 – $90,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
