Bright Tomorrows Child Advocacy Center is seeking a committed and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing trust and rapport while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries in therapeutic relationships.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to evaluate their progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and assess the appropriateness of discharge planning.
  • Design and implement personalized treatment plans, continuously monitoring client progress and making adjustments as needed for effective therapy.
  • Keep comprehensive documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring all client records are current and comply with organizational standards.
  • Perform thorough intake assessments to understand the needs of new clients and set the foundation for effective therapeutic relationships.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions, providing tailored psychotherapy services to best meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Engage in regular individual supervision with senior staff to foster professional development and address client cases effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure integrated care plans that optimize client outcomes and support their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse outpatient population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a multitude of mental health challenges. Your ability to empathize and relate to clients from various backgrounds will be critical in helping them navigate their paths to emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an unrestricted, active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting post-graduation is mandated.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and comfortable navigating digital communication platforms.
