As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct initial psychosocial assessments to diagnose and treat a range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive discharge plans that ensure seamless transitions out of therapy.
• Identify and address crisis situations, providing immediate interventions or referrals to necessary services, including community programs, support groups, or psychiatrists.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding mental health care practices.
• Engage in social work consultations and provide supportive interventions to clients experiencing crises, bereavement, or other challenges.
• Educate clients and caregivers about mental health resources and coordinate care with external agencies when needed.
• Act as a patient advocate, facilitating effective communication among care teams, family members, and community resources.
• Monitor ongoing patient needs and coordinate with relevant parties to prevent avoidable service delays or readmissions.

The therapist will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will engage with both individuals and families, providing tailored therapeutic services that cater to their specific situations and fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to healing and growth.

Candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a licensed psychologist.
• Demonstrated familiarity with community mental health resources and treatment options available to clients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong rapport with clients and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

While not required, experience in community mental health settings or with telehealth services is highly desirable. Candidates with a background in crisis intervention or family therapy will bring valuable skills to this position, enhancing our ability to support diverse individuals and families.
