Job Description:

The Training & Development Specialist provides instruction, curriculum development, and technical support services to sustain and enhance user proficiency in enterprise logistics and asset management systems (e.g., ALMIS / 1Log Portal). This role supports operational readiness by delivering training, performing data analysis, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of system data across geographically dispersed users. The position requires a combination of instructional expertise, engineering/logistics domain knowledge, and the ability to support both classroom and field operations.


There will be a combination of remote work, office-based work, and field assignments. Extensive travel required.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in USCG aeronautical/ naval engineering practices and procedures as defined in COMDTINST Manual 13020.1 (series) or Naval Engineering Manual, COMDTINST M9000.6 (series).
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in aircraft, cutter/boat.
  • Minimum five (5) years ALMIS/EAL/DSS experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years instructing or providing classroom training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with configuration management and process documentation.
  • Experience developing e-learning or digital training platforms.
  • Experience supporting large, distributed enterprise systems.
