Live Path Psychotherapy PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote practice. This full-time role is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements that accommodate a diverse client base throughout Schenectady, New York, and beyond. Our therapists work from our outpatient office environment when necessary, providing a safe and comfortable space for clients, while also having the option to conduct sessions via telehealth. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and case managers, who are dedicated to providing holistic and integrative care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health challenges accurately, establishing a foundation for effective treatment plans.
• Develop individualized therapy programs tailored to the unique needs, issues, and goals of each client, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapies.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to foster personal growth and healing.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure a thorough, team-oriented approach to client care.
• Support clients’ families by offering education and resources throughout the therapeutic process, enhancing the support system available to clients.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring the utmost respect for client confidentiality.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Live Path Psychotherapy, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing various issues, including relationship challenges, mental health disorders, and family dynamics. Your work will directly impact their recovery journeys, contributing to improved interpersonal relationships and individual well-being.

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a diverse client load and administrative responsibilities.

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor, with a focus on marriage and family therapy.
• Proficient in using telehealth technologies and platforms to facilitate effective remote therapy sessions.
