Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments of clients' mental health needs, utilizing various assessment tools and techniques to tailor therapy programs effectively.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals, implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging participation and exploration of personal experiences.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity in treatment.
  • Provide education and support to clients' families to promote healthy communication and understanding of mental health issues.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring ethical practice at all times.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach through clients’ mental health journeys.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently handle administrative tasks and client caseloads.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in providing therapy in a clinical setting, with a focus on marriage and family therapy preferred.
  • Experience in working with diverse populations and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities will be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
