• Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, facilitating open and honest discussions to help clients improve their mental well-being.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to assist clients in exploring their emotions, experiences, and relationships, fostering deeper self-understanding.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, aiding them in defining personal goals and identifying strategies to achieve these objectives.
• Evaluate clients' mental health conditions comprehensively and develop individualized treatment plans based on a solution-focused approach that integrates your clinical expertise.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment approaches when necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure sustained mental health improvement.

You will work exclusively with a carefully screened clientele consisting of stable adults with low acuity mental health needs. Our intake process is designed to ensure that all clients are matched with counselors who align with their specific challenges and preferences. This enables you to focus on providing effective, tailored support to those who are seeking personal growth and enhanced well-being, without the added pressure of managing severe mental health crises.

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A completed Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A valid license to practice independently in New York state as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note: Only fully licensed candidates will be considered; no limited or provisional licenses accepted.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and an empathetic demeanor to create a safe and trusting therapeutic environment.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital platforms for telehealth counseling.

Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a remote setting, is highly desirable. Familiarity with digital therapy tools and software applications can enhance your workflow and client interactions. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with diverse populations and those equipped with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, depending on your experience and hours worked. In addition to a robust salary, we offer a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors, promoting your health and well-being. Payments are made weekly through direct deposit to ensure financial stability and peace of mind.
