As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work from any location, enabling you to integrate your personal and professional life effectively. Our practice supports a fully remote work model, allowing you to set your schedule, whether you prefer mornings, evenings, weekdays, or weekends.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize effective therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices tailored to individual clients.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform, focusing on client engagement and therapeutic rapport.
• Document detailed session notes and treatment progress in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
• Work closely with school personnel and community organizations to facilitate integrated care for clients, ensuring that their therapeutic goals align with broader educational and social support structures.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to staying current with best practices, contribute to case discussions, and share valuable insights.

The ideal candidate will provide therapy to a diverse clientele that includes adults experiencing various mental health challenges. Our clients range from students facing academic pressures to adults managing personal mental health issues. • A master’s level degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license (LCSW-C, LMFT, LCPC, PsyD, PhD) that allows independent practice in the state of Maryland.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing psychotherapy to adults in a clinical setting.
• Skilled in utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a strong understanding of various therapeutic methodologies.
• Strong writing and communication skills for producing clear and comprehensive session documentation.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions by licensing boards in any jurisdiction.

• Experience working in community health settings or with school-based mental health programs is a plus.
• An understanding of the unique challenges faced by clients from diverse backgrounds, including cultural, socioeconomic, and educational considerations.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and technology for delivering mental health services effectively.
