Role Summary:
Call Center Foreman position answers calls from a centralized remote monitoring location for several parking markets and provides a high level of service to all customers, managers and peers by answering questions and ensuring that remote locations are kept up to date on issues as they occur. They are required to provide professional and courteous support to all internal and external customers. Assists the Facility and/or Operations Manager in monitoring established revenue controls and accountability systems.
Pay Rate: $17.85/hour
General Essential Functions:
โ€ข Responds clearly and efficiently to customer inquiries including but not limited to monthly/daily rate information, directions to locations and assists in the remote operation of automated pay equipment stations.
โ€ข Uses a variety of revenue control systems based on location requirements.
โ€ข Ensures inventory of operational supplies are at hand and informs manager if restock is needed.
โ€ข Operates and monitors facility security intercoms and surveillance monitors.
โ€ข Maintains a clean work area at all times.
โ€ข Occasionally is responsible for remotely processing parking fees and related transactions accurately.
โ€ข Coordinates daily activities with Manager.
โ€ข Acts as the liaison for all customer service inquiries, complaints, occurring during remote monitoring which may include but is not limited to incident reports and claims for the location. Reports/escalates any major issues to the facility manager as appropriate.
โ€ข Required to meet compliance responsibilities with regard to PCI (Payment Card Industry).
โ€ข Uses call center equipment as well as different revenue control systems to ensure a high level of service is provided to customers and staff across the Chicago Market and Remote Facilities
โ€ข Ensures all calls are answered and needs of customers are responded to in a timely manner and communicates clearly and effectively providing high levels of customer service.
โ€ข Completes accurate and well-written entries regarding calls into event log using internal web system.
Basic Qualifications:
โ€ข At least 6 months of general work experience.
โ€ข Depending on location, may be required to possess basic math skills sufficient to calculate time and money in assisting with Cashier-related duties.
โ€ข Ability to speak to customers using phone/audio remote monitoring technology.
โ€ข Computer literate, knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Internet
Eligibility Requirements:

Desired Characteristics:

โ€ข Prior customer service or parking industry experience.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to think clearly and act quickly in emergencies while providing excellent customer service.
โ€ข Ability to operate and communicate clearly and concisely through a two-way radio system and also in person and by phone to coworkers, superiors and customers.
โ€ข Possess strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment depending upon customer volume, shift, season, etc.
