Solve Networks -ย Strategic Business Development Director

Position Overview:
Solve Networks, a sister company of Industrial Networking Solutions (INS), is seeking a Strategic Business Development Directorย to drive expansion into targeted market verticals and acquire new strategic customer relationships. This role focuses on creating market access, building credibility within key industries, and generating new logo opportunities that scale into long-term recurring revenue relationships. The ideal candidate is a strategic market builder with strong industry relationships, executive presence, and a proven ability to create opportunities in connectivity-driven markets. This position will frequently collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and technical solution teams.

Location

Fully Remote โ€“ Candidates may be located anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute growth strategies within targeted industry verticals.
  • Establish executive-level relationships with prospective customers and strategic partners.
  • Identify organizations operating distributed assets, remote infrastructure, or large-scale connected deployments.
  • Generate qualified opportunities through industry relationships, networking, strategic outreach, and market engagement.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop solutions and advance opportunities.
  • Increase company visibility and credibility within target ecosystems and industry communities.
  • Develop strategic partnerships that create recurring business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity management within CRM systems.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of business development, strategic sales, partnerships, or industry leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success creating opportunities and opening strategic accounts.
  • Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within industries that rely on distributed connectivity, remote infrastructure, or large-scale deployments.
  • Experience beyond account management to include strategic partnership development and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop customer solutions
  • Ability to operate independently and develop market-specific growth strategies.

Preferred

  • Experience with connectivity, telecommunications, IoT, mobility, wireless networking, Starlink, or related technologies.
  • Existing relationships within connectivity, telecom, mobility, IoT, smart infrastructure, or adjacent ecosystems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Teamwork: This position requires close collaboration across sales, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams while maintaining the ability to work independently and proactively.

Additional Requirements
  • Fully remote position; candidate may reside anywhere in the United States.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25% and up to 50% as required for customer meetings, partner engagement, conferences, and industry events.
