We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the integration of enterprise infrastructure platforms across CenterWell, OneHome, Conviva, and TrueShore. This role will focus on enterprise monitoring, infrastructure automation, orchestration (Infrastructure as Code), cloud and server technologies, and backup and disaster recovery solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong systems engineering expertise, a passion for automation, and the ability to lead complex infrastructure initiatives across both on-premises and cloud environments.
We are a small but highly impactful team responsible for technologies that enable critical patient interactions. This role offers the opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on engineering while partnering across multiple teams and business areas to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Job Description

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of complex infrastructure systems and platforms. This role works across enterprise environments to support servers, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, automation solutions, and disaster recovery capabilities. The Senior Systems Engineer operates with a high degree of independence, providing technical leadership and guidance while driving infrastructure modernization efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Integrate enterprise monitoring, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms across subsidiary environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux server infrastructure.
  • Administer infrastructure environments through management consoles, orchestration platforms, and scripting tools.
  • Support public cloud infrastructure and automation initiatives.
  • Implement and enhance server software deployment and patch management solutions.
  • Advance backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Conduct requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support.
  • Review infrastructure changes, automation scripts, and rollout plans to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to develop infrastructure strategies and roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership to engineers, contractors, and project teams within assigned technology domains.
  • Support large-scale infrastructure integration and transformation efforts across multiple business segments.

While this role will be the primary owner of several technologies, it will work closely with senior infrastructure leadership and engineering partners to drive successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise infrastructure solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Windows Server administration
    • Linux Server administration
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation platforms
    • Public cloud infrastructure
    • Server deployment and patch management tooling
    • Infrastructure and platform monitoring solutions
    • Backup and disaster recovery technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
  • Passion for improving customer and associate experiences through technology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certifications related to infrastructure, cloud, automation, or systems engineering.
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • Microsoft 365 Administration
    • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
    • Block, file, object, and backup storage platforms
    • End User Compute technologies
    • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integrations

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
